DUBLIN CLEARANCE GUIDE

Materials that need specialist handling

Some materials cannot be treated as ordinary rubbish. Asbestos or suspected asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, gas cylinders and other hazardous streams need appropriate specialist handling.

Searches for hazardous waste rubbish removal Dublin often come from someone trying to make a decision, not just find a phone number. This guide is designed to answer that decision properly and then let you request a quote if a collection service is the right fit.

Asbestos and suspected asbestos

Do not disturb or mix suspected asbestos into an ordinary clearance. It requires specialist assessment and handling.

Chemicals and liquids

Paints in quantity, solvents, oils, pesticides and unknown liquids are not normal mixed-rubbish items. Identify them before booking.

Clinical and sharps waste

Needles, sharps, medicines and clinical waste need appropriate specialist routes and should never be hidden in bags of household rubbish.

Gas cylinders and pressurised containers

Gas bottles and other pressurised containers require suitable handling. Do not place them into a normal mixed load without confirmation.

Large quantities of rubble, soil and very heavy material

Small amounts of suitable light debris may be assessed, but substantial dense waste is usually better treated as a dedicated construction-waste job.
